As the post title states, this is also my first time taking a Research Methods course. I come from a different background than most here with a background in Biology and Environmental Science. During my past studies, I have some experience in experimental research both inside a lab and a Limnology field course (EEB410). Along with every experiment comes a scientific research paper that includes secondary researching of primary literature and conducting basic statistical analysis. As a science student, I find that my research methods are quite structured more or less the same.
Despite my limited number of researching, I am interested in this course to broaden my perspective of ways of researching and how information (data) can be collected and analyzed. It will be interesting to see everyone's point of view coming from different backgrounds.
