My name is Glenda and this is my first time blogging. I have
never blogged before, and have mixed feelings about it. I’m scared and nervous,
as putting my thoughts for the world to see and judge is frightening. I don’t
mind writing a paper, for only one person to see and criticize, but to have
anyone view it makes me feel uneasy. This class will hopefully help me in
removing all these feelings and make me feel comfortable in speaking my mind.
This is my last semester, and I can’t wait to begin my professional
career. I have taken a research methods
class before, during my undergraduate degree. My background is in
Administrative Studies and I have been working in Academic libraries for 7
years. I am excited about this course, since I will be able to explore my
thoughts and hopefully come up with some interesting research possibilities for
my research project, and maybe for my professional development.
